March 2 Black Explosion by University at Buffalo

Black Explosion was a unique fashion show, performance, and cultural celebration presented by UB’s Black Student Union.  The event was elaborate, upscale, and entirely student run!  Set in the future, each segment of the program was inspired by new takes on the classic elemental theme: swamp, ice, fire, and desert.  B.A.D. collaborated with a longtime Buffalo acrobat and dancer, Shanika Williams, to present a fire themed set on aerial silk and lyra.
