Aerial Yoga

Prerequisites: Familiarity with yoga is helpful but not required.

Preregistration required.  A shirt that covers underarms is recommended.  

If you’ve done yoga, many of the aerial yoga poses will be familiar. If you’re not currently practicing yoga, don’t worry–the instructor demonstrates each pose, and circulates through the room to assist you.

We teach a medium paced flow class appropriate for most levels, incorporating both strengthening poses and lengthening stretches. Yoga hammocks are beneficial for balance and support in challenging poses as well as making inversions more accessible.  Options and modifications  are offered for for anyone not comfortable with certain poses.

This class will leave you feeling calm and energized, and it’s the perfect gentle invigoration to start off your morning. And at the end, everyone’s favorite part, we relax into a Savasana fully suspended by the fabric, which feels very soothing!
