Feb 15 – Love is Cold: An Aerial Showcase

February brings us blizzards and cupid, snow and sweets, ice crystals and amour.  Buffalo Aerial Dance students and instructors took these themes to the circus. Is love cold literally or metaphorically? Can one really love when one is cold? How cold are we talking? These questions are best answered by dangling majestically in the air, which is of course what we happen to do best!  Our student showcase offered an evening of aerial acts exploring various oddities and afflictions, pushing the idea of Valentine’s beyond Hallmark into something a little different.

This event featured aerial performance on Silks, Trapeze, Lyra, Rope, and other circus talents.
