Level 2 Silks
A hallmark of Level 2 is building solid inversion technique. As we build the strength to invert in a straddle, we also explore many other skills that use inverted positions as a starting point. You will be encouraged to work higher in the air, and develop a sense of creativity on the apparatus. Level 2 introduces poses that require strong grip strength and a strong core as body positioning and wraps become more intricate. Level 2 also introduces the first drops, which is always exciting!
Prerequisites: These classes are generally appropriate for those with 6 months to 2 years of aerial experience. Completion of all Level 1 skills with good form is required. The equivalent from another studio is also acceptable. Ability to invert from the floor is recommended.
